My winter wheels and tires came in today. They look much better than I thought they would and cant complain for what they cost. Cant wait to put them on in a few weeks and see how they look on the Mazda.
I also expected them to arrive in boxes for some reason, but it was much easier to move them being able to roll them along.

That is the only way I have ever seen tires shipped. Even how my tires and rims were shipped (mounted).

I love a nice, brand new set of tires. I’ll be picking up a brand new set of winter Michelins although they’ll be mounted on steelies. I had 14" steelies on my old car and they didn’t look out of place on a small econobox. Now I’m going to need 17" steelies - it won’t be pretty but at the cost of free, I can live with it.

I concur, the spend their lives underneath a car, they’re tough enough to not need boxes.

It seems obvious to me now, but for some reason I expected to come home to 4 large boxes.

Can’t beat free. I’d be rockin steelies too if I had some on hand.

Lol, that’s an odd image to me unboxing tires.
